Maren Morris is going into this weekend’s ACM Awards with her debut album, and the first single off that album both having nominations. HERO is up for ACM Album Of The Year, while “My Church” is nominated for Single Of The Year. Maren says “To have ‘My Church’ and my album HERO honored…I feel really validated because it’s my first real album to put out into the world and to have this much response and kindness thrown its way, it just makes me feel like I’m doing the right thing and I’m on the right path as an artist.” Maren is already a winner as this year’s ACM New Female Vocalist, and on Sunday Maren can add to her total with 4 more trophies, as the categories she’s nominated in recognize her as both artist and producer! Check out the 52nd Annual ACM Awards this Sunday, April 2nd, when they air live on CBS TV from Las Vegas, Nevada.
