Maren Morris will be heading to Las Vegas at the end of the week to be ready for the 52nd Annual ACM Awards on Sunday April 2nd. Maren is one of the most nominated artists of the night…and already a winner! It was announced a couple of weeks ago that Maren won the ACM New Female Vocalist Of The Year award. While she was already excited for this year’s ACMs, Maren was “definitely shocked” when she found out about winning New Female Vocalist Of The Year. Maren can’t believe all that has happen in the last 12 months, ” I remember going to the ACMs last year, and it was my first ever awards show to go to, and get dressed up for, and I never thought a year later I would be sitting in the audience and be nominated. So, to be going, and to already be a winner is so amazing, and I was so proud of my friends Jon Pardi and Brothers Osborne for winning their first ACMs as well, so it’s cool to be a part of this new class of artists.” Maren is also nominated for Female Vocalist Of The Year, Album Of The Year (for HERO), and Single Of The Year (for “My Church”). Maren has double nominations in the Album Of The Year, and Single Of The Year as she is not only the artist, but also a producer on the album, and song. You can check out the ACM Awards Sunday April 2nd, when they air live from Las Vegas on CBS TV.
