For Chris Young, one of the best parts of his recent Grammy nomination for Best Country Duo/Group Performance is getting to share the excitement with his “Think Of You” duet partner Cassadee Pope, but before celebrating together, he had to make sure that she got the news. Chris found out about the  Grammy nod when he was on the road, and then he had to wait. As Chris recalls thinking ‘Can someone tell her? Someone needs to tell her. So that we can get on the phone.’ Of course Cassadee did find out, and the two did get on the phone, and Chris recalls that after having that conversation, that it “definitely made the day that much more awesome.” Check out the The 59^th Annual Grammy Awards when they air live on CBS TV on February 12.

“I found out first, and then I had to wait. I was like ‘Can someone tell her? Someone needs to tell her. So that we can get on the phone.’ I was actually up in Chicago doing a radio show when I found out. It definitely made the day that much more awesome”.
