Old Dominion is set to hit the road with Miranda Lambert on her Highway Vagabond tour. Of course, they’ll be bringing the hits from their album Meat and Candy, like their latest number-one “Song For Another Time”—but the real question is what do they pack clothes wise? Consider that many of the places the Highway Vagabond tour is going over the next couple of days are experiencing temperature fluctuations between 20 and 30 degrees. Brad Tursi of Old Dominion, says with all that moving around it’s hard to get a feel for the weather, and bandmate Geoff Sprung adds that their hometown of Nashville hasn’t help in prepping them for the cold with the mild winter it’s been having. The guys in Old Dominion talk about the challenge of packing for a tour where there’s going to be different kinds of weather. (:26)
Brad Tursi: “It is sort of strange, I feel like just because we move around so much, it’s like when you’re in one spot you can kind of feel the seasons changing and the year progressing…but, since we’re so all over the place it kind of just…I don’t know…it’s sort of weird”
Trevor Rosen: “Very confusing”
Matthew Ramsey: “You could be in the summer but wearing a jacket depending on where we are. It is hard, I never really thought about it just because of our travel.”
Geoff Sprung: “It doesn’t help that it’s awfully warm in Nashville this winter”
Matthew Ramsey: “Yeah, definitely”
