Seth Ennis is starting to make people wake up and take notice of his song “Woke Up In Nashville.” Seth co-wrote, and played all the instruments on his first single, which led us to wonder with that range of talent, who was some of his musical influences growing up. Seth grew up moving around a lot due to his dad’s time in the military, so that lead to some musical heroes that were also all over the map. Seth says his top two are from Nashville–Vince Gill and Alan Jackson, but then he also found some influence from Usher, Boyz II Men, and thanks to his dad, the Eagles make the list too. Phil Collins also caught Seth’s eye due to not only Phil’s singing ability, but also his talents to play multiple instruments. And of course Elvis is on his list…how could you not include Elvis?

“Some of the big ones for me were…my number-one is Vince Gill…out of everybody it’s Vince Gill, and probably Alan Jackson, I loved growing up. Then there’s Usher, Boyz II Men, and there’s Elvis. I love Elvis. My dad was a huge Eagles fan, so I love the Eagles. I’m telling ya man, it’s all over the place. It’s so far over the place, anyway, Phil Collins being a drummer, a piano player and a singer. I could go on and on.”
