Luke Combs has a special relationship with his fans. While he may be new to radio with his song “Hurricane,” Luke has been touring for several years now. While he’s been out on the road, Luke has started to make friends with the people that show up to his shows. Now he sees familiar faces in the crowd as his performances, and Luke says that’s what it’s all about. If you play your music to one person who becomes a fan, and loves the music just as much as he does, it’s as good as playing to a hundred people, because that one fan will share the music with everyone they know.

“I’ve made a lot of friends over the years that started out as someone that came to the show, and told me how good I was and now we, you know, we’re in communication and we know each other by name and that’s cause a cool thing, cause I think a lot of people miss out on that you know, cause I really started playing four years ago now so I’ve, I have met a lot of people along the way at small restaurants, and who now have come to fifty shows, and you know we talk to each other and that’s just such a cool thing to have, and you remember those people because those were the people that really you know they will go show your music to one hundred people and they’re just invaluable. It’s just as much as playing in front of a hundred people, if you can play in front of one person that falls in love with you then they’ll show your music to everyone for as long as you’re doing it.”
