In his debut single “Woke Up In Nashville” Seth Ennis sings about starting out on his dad’s six string, but before that, his singing career started in the 9th grade–thanks to a school requirement. Seth had to take a music class, so he picked choir. Seth got a lot of work in choir class, because his voice hadn’t changed yet, like many of his classmates did. He didn’t mind though, being able to sing all the parts that none of the other boys could, made me feel good about himself, and gave him confidence. Seth jokes, that he started singing in that 9th grade choir class and hasn’t stopped since.
Seth Ennis talks about the start of his singing career…in the 9th grade. (:23)
“I started singing because when I was in 9th grade, all the other kids went through puberty before me (laugh) and so, we had to take a music class, and I took choir, and I had the highest voice. So, I could sing all the parts that the other guys couldn’t sing. (laugh) So, it made me feel good about myself for some reason…it’s funny to look back on now. Yeah, so I just got into singing because I could sing high, and then it kind of just didn’t stop.”
