Tyler Farr choose “Our Town” to be the first single off his upcoming project because he felt that the song had a message that’s relevant to the issues happening in today’s society. Tyler says that “I look at it as kind of points out reality in a country song.” Music is a powerful way to reach people and to bring people together…that’s why Tyler thought it was time to have a song like this out for people to listen to, “I think it’s good to have a song that people can kind of use as therapy for their lives.”

“First time hearing it you know obviously blown away, and I look at it as kind of points out reality in a country song and talks about what’s going on currently in society and stuff and I think it’s good to you know have a song that people can kind of use as therapy for their lives, and people that have been threw some of this stuff. The terrorists attacks, any of the bombings and stuff that have affect them, because this year has been a crazy year, and I thought it was ideally time to have a song like that and put it out. That’s why we chose it as the first single.”
