While Old Dominion has had a lot of success over the last couple of years, with touring with Kenny Chesney in back to back summers, releasing their album Meat and Candy, being a CMA Award nominee, and having their songs become hits on radio, like their latest single “Song For Another Time,” the guys are pretty much the same. Matthew Ramsey, from Old Dominion, jokes that while all that’s happened, he and the other members of the band, Trevor Rosen, Brad Tursi, Whit Sellers and Geoff Sprung are still the same jerks to each other they have always been. Matthew does admit two changes that their success has brought is moving from his minivan to a tour and “the biggest thing that’s changed for us is we get new cloths all the time.” They’ll need that tour bus and all those new clothes as the guys hit the road on their own headlining Meat and Candy tour. Matthew from Old Dominion says that while much hasn’t changed with the band’s success, there might be one or two things that might be different now. (:28)
Matthew: “I think that really the biggest thing that’s changed for us is we get new cloths all the time. (laugh)”
Trevor: (laughs)
Matthew: That’s about it, you know like we get new cloths and that’s fun, but that’s about it. You know I feel like we’re the same guys, we’re the same jerks to each other all the time, and we laugh a lot and we still do, still having a good time. We had a good time in my minivan when this whole thing started, and we have a good time in the bus. You know our transportation and our cloths are really the big things that have changed. (laughs)”
Brad: (laughs)
