As we move from summer to fall, there’s still a bunch of great fairs and festivals happening with the opportunity to see your favorite music acts. Although with a lot of those performances happening outside, artists are looking forward to the cooler temperatures. LANco‘s lead singer Brandon Lancaster is one of those singers. While he loves Summer shows, he admits that with the amount of jumping around they do on stage while performing their single “Long Live Tonight,” the request for water is more important that some other shows. Brandon recalls an outside show this summer where the temps soared to 99 degrees with a heat index of 108…now that’s a hot show! “Summer shows are always fun because they’re outside, and hot, but, you know it’s fun. We move around so much and we have such a good time on stage we’re kind of distracted from the heat…but every now and then in between song you’ll be like running for a water bottle. Just the other day we were playing a show, it was like 99° heat index is like 108, and I remember during the song, you’re just in the moment, you’re having fun, and then, like the sweat starts getting your eyes, and the song ends, and you realize like ‘I am really hot,’ and I started yelling at our guitar tech like ‘Water! Water!’ and he was just throwing us water bottles across the stage. (laugh)”
