Kenny Chesney once again will continue his tradition of ending his tour in New England. The Spread The Love tour wraps up with back to back shows at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro this Friday and Saturday. Kenny gives everything he has to the fans while on tour, and when things get rough, he says that it’s actually the anticipation of ending up in Foxboro that keeps him going. Kenny does admit though, while “It’s two nights of just a lot, lot of energy and a lot of fun…it’s always bittersweet.” But with all the friends and family that come to those final shows, Kenny compares it being “just a big lovefest.”

“It’s such a great way to end every year, you know, those two nights in Foxboro…we know we got a lot of family, a lot of friends, a lot of my island friends come there…a lot of them are from the New England area, and we go through so many ups and downs on any tour, but we get through all that knowing that we get those two nights in Boston and in New England there in Foxboro at Gillette Stadium. It’s two nights of just a lot, lot of energy and a lot of fun, and it’s always bittersweet, because you know it’s great to be able to do what we do, and as tired as you are, and sometimes as tired as you want to get away from it you still don’t want to let it go either, so those nights are always bittersweet but they’re great!”
