Kenny Chesney‘s brand new smash hit song “Setting The World On Fire” can trace it’s origin to California, and a drive down the Pacific Coast Highway to meet with his duet partner on the track. Kenny recalls that last fall, while spending time on the West Coast, and working on the song–he drove down to a studio to meet with P!nk. The two collaborated on “Setting The World On Fire,” and after the session Kenny walked away with the feeling that not only does P!nk have a great voice, in his words she has “a God-given instrument.”

“I spent a lot of time last fall in California, and one afternoon I drove down the Pacific Coast Highway to the studio where she works a lot, and we spent about an hour working on the song, and it was just magic. I couldn’t believe how great of a singer she really was just, she blew me away and I realize right then that she had a God-given instrument and she was just perfect for ‘Setting The World On Fire.'”
