Congrats to Maren Morris, her album HERO is the number-one album in country music, and top-5 in all genres. This has been a very personal project for Maren that she is now more than happy to share with her fans. Maren admits some of the best parts of having her music out, is that she can get feedback on the music, and when she’s playing shows on the Keith Urban tour, more fans will know more songs. One of the other perks, Maren admits, is that she can go into a store now, and see her album sitting there on a shelf–which is a dream come true.

“It’s just a piece of work that has been sitting with me for the last few months, but it’s always exciting to put up new music, because you sort of sit with it, and you’ve written it, and you’ve been in the studio with it for a long time getting to release it out into the world and it being in people’s collections now…is a really exciting feeling, because you get to have feedback, and you get to hear them to get back to you it shows. It’s just one of the best parts of the processes, the fans finally getting to hear something”

“I think as just a music junkie myself having my album out, and also having opportunity to make HERO on vinyl, it just feels so validating to me because I love to listen to music in every capacity. Whether it’s on the radio, streaming, it’s my personal catalog, or an actual record on a turntable, you know it it’s just surreal that I get to now walk into a store or a record store and see my face there it is just a dream come true.”
