Chris Young will kick off the 2016 CMA Music Festival this Wednesday, June 8 at the Festival’s new, state-of-the-art venue – the Skyview Stage at the Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville. Chris,who grew up just outside of Nashville, still can’t believe he gets to be a part of the CMA Music Festival as a performer, because he used to go to the festival (then called Fan Fair) when he was a little kid.

“It’s a little strange if you think back to the fact that I was walkin’ around gettin’ autographs from other people. So it’s a little bit different knowin’ that now I’ve got people bringin’ stuff up to me, but it’s a good feeling.”

“Weirdest thing I’ve ever signed…I actually had a lady get me to sign a pack of Depends for her husband’s 75th birthday. That probably is the weirdest at this point.”
