Kenny Chesney is out on the road with his Spread The Love tour–and besides the name being a song from his Life On A Rock album, Kenny says there’s a lot more meaning behind the tour title. The Spread The Love tour is also calling attention to the Spread the Love Fund, which was established by Kenny, and working with the Boston Medical Center, it’s goal is to help those affected by the Boston Marathon bombings. “Me and the band and the crew and the real family that’s what we do, we look at it as we are spreading music and we are spreading the love throughout the whole room. And that’s how we want people to look at it so, that was one reason. Another reason is that people know that I am very involved with the Boston medical center. After the marathon bombings I started the fund called the Spread the Love Fund. I am trying to think of unique ways to bring attention to that fund to help people whose lives were changed due to no fault of their own, so that’s another reason.”
