Maren Morris got to check off one of her “bucket list” concert items recently–seeing Bruce Springsteen! Maren is a huge fan of The Boss, and one her of favorite albums of his is The River, so she thought it was perfect that she got to see this legendary music icon on his The River tour. Maren not only was inspired by his music, but she was wow’ed by the 66 year old Springsteen’s energy to not only put on an exciting show–but to crowd surf too! She jokes that she’ll need to start jogging now to make sure she can do that when she reaches his age.

Thanks to her hit song “My Church” and her opening spot on the Keith Urban tour, Maren Morris is one singer that fans are hoping to see in concert this summer…and they’ll have plenty of chances to catch her live show. Not only will Maren be on the ripCORD World Tour, she’ll be at this year’s CMA Music Fest, appearing at the Bonnaroo music festival, and on May 21st, Maren will be making her debut on the Grand Ole Opry…no word about crowd surfing at the show though.

“It was everything I wanted it to be. It was energetic, I mean he’s 68 years old, and he’s crowd surfing, and The River is one of my favorite Springsteen records, so the fact that he was doing The River tour and I got to go see him for the first time, it was kind of fate I guess, but it was so fun.”

“Yeah I definitely need to start jogging or whatever he does for his physical regimen. But yeah inspired me a lot just the way that his crew is all…the way they work there all buddies it seems like it’s just a really cool machine that’s happening behind this amazing show and they gave me a lot of inspiration to run my business like that”
