Carrie Underwood is nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year at this Sunday’s ACM Awards in Las Vegas. Carrie admits that will while aren’t everything, getting the nomination can reinforce what you’re doing, and that people are still excited about it! Lots of people are excited about Carrie and her music–she’s coming off back to back number-one hits from her new album Storyteller. “It’s is a lot of reinforcement when you get nominations, from award’s show, cause you still want people to be excited about what you’re doing I’m excited about what I’m doing but you know if nobody’s there to check it out or go see it, or go buy it or go watch it, or listen to it…I guess it doesn’t matter how excited I am about it, so it’s really nice to kind of get those those…you know, awards aren’t everything but but they do make you feel good”
