This Sunday Trisha Yearwood will be playing the role of The Virgin Mary in the live-action TV musical version of The Passion. Airing on Fox, the two-hour musical will tell the story of Jesus, with a modern twist. There will be plenty of people hopping on the couch and watching the TV special–and Trisha can relate. When she’s not busy with her career, she’s been known to invest her time in certain shows…perhaps even a little TV binging, that Trisha jokes…leads from one episode to another, and then before you know it, you haven’t left your house in 3 days.

“I also binge watched Breaking Bad, somebody had told me about it and I had never seen it, and so–it was over before I started watching it and of course from the first episode I was hooked. So basically my life was at a standstill until I got through all 6 seasons (laugh). So, I have to be careful, because I will do that, and when they’re already all out, you’re like ‘ok, I’m only going to watch one more episode then I’m going to quit.’ And then something happens at the end, and you’re like ‘ok, I’m just going to watch one more episode and then I’m going to quit.’ And then 3 days later you haven’t left your house.”
