On the heels of releasing his brand new single called “American Country Love Song,” Jake Owen hit the highway for a road trip from Nashville, TN all the way down to Key West, Fl. It was a week ago that Jake shared with fans his plan for the trip, along with announcing that the adventure would take place in a 1966 Volkswagen bus that he recently bought, and dubbed the “Love Bus.” Stops on the trip have already included Chattanooga, TN, Savannah, GA, and before he actually made it St. Augustine, FL today, the “Love Bus” encountered a little problem. Jake made the best of the opportunity while stuck on the side of the road–including posting a video about a couple of fans that stopped to see if he was ok. With his arrive in St. Augustine, it appears the trip is back and rolling again. While you might not be able to actually be in the bus with him, Jake is making sure you feel part of the trip with updates all along the way.

“I had this exciting idea, to spread love…as much as I can, spread positivity, which all of y’all out there that know how much over the years that I like to spontaneously interact with my fans, and friends out there on the road. I had this idea that I would buy…I’ve always been obsessed with Volkswagen buses. I love the freedom of them, I love the idea, I wish I could transport back to the 60s or 70s, and take a cross-country road trip. So, I bought a 1966 Volkswagen bus, that is now officially called the ‘Love Bus’.”
