Cam talks about being on tour with Brad Paisley. (:38)
“The Brad tour is insane. It’s amazing. He has the best fans. They are there early, which is amazing, so everyone’s there and excited to see me. And when I ask everyone to, like, sing along, like to ‘Burning House,’ I mean, I just get a huge stadium full of people with their flashlights on their phone, you know, so it’s just like this sea of stars, and it’s unreal. There’s like a catwalk — Brad lets me go out on the catwalk (laughs), so it’s a really amazing experience to play for a crowd that I normally…I wouldn’t get to play for that kind of crowd yet. He earned these amazing fans, and I get to borrow them for 20 minutes.”
Cam says that there’s a great camaraderie on the Brad Paisley tour. (:33)
“What’s cool about Brad is that he and his…like, now I’ve gotten to hang out with him and his dad, and they’re so funny, they’re great people, hard-working people. And you feel like you’re being watched out for. You know, like, everyone in the crew…it’s probably not hard to miss me ’cause I’m the only one with crazy curls, but (laughs) they all see me and know me and kind of like, ‘Hey, Cam, how are you doin’, how are you feelin’?’ So, definitely like a big family that you get to be a part of. Country music’s just so good about that, just sort of looking out for one another.”
