“Having people respond so positively to it, and emotionally to it, especially with a song like ‘My Church’ — it’s about an emotional response to music — it’s been incredible to me, and I think no one can really prepare you for what happens with a song. But you know, I have nothing but positive hopes for it, and at the end of the day, I’m just really proud that I wrote that song, and it has an emotional reaction…I have an emotional reaction to it every time I play it out, so, you know, I’m excited for it to get out to the world and have people hear it and hopefully love it, too.”
