I feel like I’ve been a reader of these publications and seen friends of mine be on these lists, and I’ve always just been kind of an onlooker of people’s rise, so it’s very surreal to be in the driver’s seat now. I feel really blessed to be mentioned in conversation with other artists that I idolize and I respect and I’m inspired by. So I feel like it’s been a fun few months (laughs) getting to be a part of all of this.”
