Chris Young kicked off the U.S. run of his “I’m Comin’ Over” World Tour in Nashville this week, and just before the show, Chris’ record label presented him with a Gold record for his current hit, “I’m Comin’ Over.” It’s the title track and first single off of Chris’ new album, out November 13th, and Chris told us recently that the song’s success has been thrilling — and reassuring. - Roughstock recently cheered “I’m Comin’ Over” as one of its “Top 10 Songs of the Summer 2015,” declaring Chris’ performance “among the best vocals of the year.”
- Chris played to more than 5,000 fans as he headlined Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater on September 30th, with Jerrod Niemann and Cam as special guests for the night. “It’s so exciting for me to see people loving it as much as I’ve loved it, and it’s the first new music they’ve had from me in a long time. So, I’ve been holding all this stuff in, goin’, ‘Oh, my God, this is so cool,’ and then there is that little moment of kind of…it’s not trepidation, but it’s just like, I don’t know if it’s the anticipation of it, goin’, ‘I wonder what people are gonna think.’”
