Tyler Farr has had a lot to smile about recently: releasing a new album, scoring his third consecutive number-one single, and getting engaged! After he had a minute to take it all in, Tyler talked with us about an amazing couple of weeks. (AUDIO INFO BELOW)
- Be listening for Tyler’s terrific new song, “Withdrawals,” the follow-up to his chart-topping smash, “A Guy Walks into a Bar,” both featured on his newly released album, titled Suffer in Peace.
- Among the great write-ups on Tyler’s new Suffer in Peace album, Renowned for Sound gave it a four-out-of-five-star review that raved, “Suffer in Peace is a triumph in what it sets out to achieve. It raises the heart rate when necessary, melts it when needed and lifts it at the right time; country runs through this album’s veins, from the old sounds to the new. Tyler’s sophomore record is a fine example of the singer’s growing talent, and his desire to stay at the top of the game.”
With a great debut for his new album, a number-one single, and an engagement, Tyler Farr has had a remarkable couple of weeks. (:34)
“We had a great album release week with Suffer in Peace, that was number four in all genres, so it’s pretty cool to sit in front of…seein’ your name in front of Drake, which was (laughs) pretty mind-blowing. And in the same week of getting a number-one, getting engaged. So, I don’t know which was harder: convincing my girlfriend, who definitely is out of my league and far too pretty for me — no pun intended — to marry me, or getting ‘Guy Walks into a Bar’ to number one. I don’t know which was tougher. (laughs) I think getting her to say ‘yes.'”
