A big congratulations to five-man band Old Dominion, who delivered the hottest new record on the airwaves this week with their song, “Break up with Him,” which was the number-one most added song at country radio with 42 new playlist “adds” and 76 first-week chart-reporting stations. And seeing that kind of incredible response to their debut single is something that the band’s Matthew Ramsey says feels mighty good. (AUDIO INFO BELOW)
- In a press release earlier this week, the band responded to the exciting news, saying, “The support that Country Radio has shown us out of the gate like this is unreal. We are so proud of this song and the entire team of people who are working with us. We can’t wait to see where this will take us!”
- Meet the Guys: Old Dominion is lead vocalist Matthew Ramsey, multi-instrumentalist Trevor Rosen, lead guitarist Brad Tursi, drummer Whit Sellers, and bassist Geoff Sprung.
- Keep up with the band on Twitter @OldDominion, and be sure to watch for them on the stadium dates of Kenny Chesney’s The Big Revival Tour!

“It’s really fun for us to watch this song do what it’s doing because it’s the first song that the five of us have ever written together, all five of us. So, we write a lot in town. We’ve written some songs for some other people just in different combinations, but this one is the first one that the five of us wrote together.”
