Kenny Chesney says that a songwriting trip was responsible for his new hit, “Wild Child.” (:29)
“‘Wild Child’ is one of my favorite songs that I’ve written in a while. I wrote that song with Josh Osborne and Shane McAnally. And we wrote it on one of these…I take these writing trips, you know, once or twice a year, just to get outta town, ’cause it does help the creative process, and I really wanted to do that with those guys because they are really incredible songwriters, but very creative. And so we took one of those writing trips and wrote several songs, but the best song we wrote on that trip was ‘Wild Child.'”
