New mom Carrie Underwood has been settling into the motherhood groove since the February 27th arrival of Isaiah, her first child with husband Mike Fisher. But before the birth, Carrie told reporters that even though she grew up in a household of girls, she didn’t have too many extra concerns about the ins and outs of taking care of a little boy. - As for his share of Isaiah’s diaper duty, papa Mike Fisher told Nashville’s Tennessean this week, “I’m not bad. I’m working away at it. I’m not the best yet, but we’ll get there.”
- And speaking of births…an early happy birthday to Carrie, who’ll be celebrating her big day this coming Tuesday, March 10th!

“I definitely feel like, no matter what, it probably would have been scary (laughs), just having this other human to take care of, boy or girl. But I…my husband has two brothers and a sister, so he’s versed in being around both kinds of kids. And he’s got lots of family members and stuff like that, and they all have babies, and so I’m not worried. It’ll be good. I just…yeah, I’m worried about…I do look around my house now and think of all the things that they could break. And when I say ‘they,’ I mean Mike and baby Fisher. (laughs) They’re gonna break everything.”
