Carrie Underwood is following up the GRAMMY®-winning success of her recent smash “Something in the Water” with the second single from her Greatest Hits: Decade #1 album, a song called “Little Toy Guns.” Not only is it the hottest new song at country radio this week, it’s also one that Carrie co-wrote, and she says that she’s thrilled with how it all came together, both musically and lyrically. “When I hear ‘Little Toy Guns,’ I feel like it’s such a rockin’ song. We managed to combine an important message with really cool music (laughs), so it’s kind of one of those songs that, even if you don’t pay attention to the words whatsoever, you’re still gonna think it’s a really cool song, but then when you realize what we’re talking about, it’s kind of like, ‘Oh, that has an important message behind it.'”
