- “Something in the Water” is featured on Carrie’s hit-filled new, 25-song album, Greatest Hits: Decade #1.
- While “Something in the Water” is still climbing the country airplay charts, it’s already set a personal record for Carrie, having just earned a 7th cumulative week at number-one on Billboard‘s airplay/sales/and streaming-based Hot Country Songs chart! The accomplishment surpasses the six weeks that Carrie spent at number-one with her debut country single, “Jesus, Take the Wheel” — which, incidentally, was in the midst of its chart-topping run nine years ago this week!
- And speaking of visuals…the gorgeous music video for “Something in the Water” is currently in its 5th week at number-one on GAC’s fan-voted Top 20 Country Countdown.

“It’s always difficult when you’re trying to think of how to sum up a song in a picture. And even, like, album covers and things like that, I mean, it…you just kind of have to sum everything up in a snapshot, a moment in time. And you know, it was like, ‘What do we do with the water?’ Like (laughs), it was tough, so we did the best we could (laughs) and came up with some really beautiful images. I wouldn’t say that was the funnest photo shoot (laughs) ever, because I was soaking wet, but it made for some pretty pictures.”
