- “A Guy Walks into a Bar” is the first single from Tyler’s new album — coming later this year — and the single is available now on iTunes.
- Among Tyler’s upcoming tour dates, he’ll be headlining shows this Friday, January 9th, at Joe’s Bar in Chicago and January 10th at Milwaukee’s The Rave. The shows are part of a multi-artist series of ACM Lifting Lives Club Shows sponsored by Mattress Firm. Participating clubs will donate a portion of each ticket sold to ACM Lifting Lives, the charitable arm of the Academy of Country Music, with money raised from the events being used to help fund organizations that are improving lives through the power of music.

“This song, I’ll tell ya, I don’t know if it was just meant for me to sing or what, but it was not a long recording process. I think we cut the vocal in about 30 minutes. I love the song. I’m a fan of songwriting, and I love to write songs, fan of songwriters. If I love a song, I will listen to it and listen to it until I’m blue in the face. And that’s exactly what I did with ‘A Guy Walks into a Bar.’ So when I went in the studio, I, you know, had the thing memorized and loved the song — and hopefully you can tell. And I think you can through my emotion and how I express myself in the song while I’m singin’ it, you can tell that I’m puttin’ every emotion I have into the song.”
