Chris Young talks about the inspiration behind his latest album title. (:18)
“Everybody always says nothing good happens after midnight, but there’s plenty of stuff that’s great that happens after midnight. You know? Whether it be partying, whether it be fallin’ in love for the first time, or whether it be working through something in your relationship and gettin’ to that point where it’s like, ‘naw, we’re gonna stay together.’ You know, all those things can happen in the A.M., and so that’s why we named the record that.”
Chris Young says that his love for Golden Tee continues unabated! (:24)
“I always have the newest version of Golden Tee on the road. And if you don’t know what that is, then you don’t know, but if you’ve ever played virtual golf in a bar, that’s probably what you played. And it’s in a road case. I was gonna say, it’s a little bit different ’cause people are always like, ‘Aww, you have anything cool out here?’ And I’m like, ‘Well, we’ve got this road case that turns into a Golden Tee machine.’ People are like, ‘Oh, my God!’ ‘Cause it’s the only one. We basically had it custom made. So, yeah, perks! It’s fun sometimes!”
