Chris Young recently released his new album, titled A.M. — and now that he’s becoming a studio veteran with three previous albums under his belt, we asked Chris if the process of making album number four was harder or easier than his first three records. (AUDIO INFO BELOW)
- Chris is currently Top 10 and climbing on the radio charts with his smash, “Aw Naw,” the first hit single from his new A.M. album.
Chris Young says that making his fourth album wasn’t really harder or easier than previous albums. (:45)
“Neither. It’s harder and easier, or it’s not either one. There’s always different aspects for each record. You know, this one I did some stuff purposefully different than what I’ve done in the past, and then sometimes, it’s like, ‘Man, I wish I could re-create what I did on this track back on record one, and now I’m havin’ trouble doin’ it on record, you know, eight.’ It’s just, every different album process is different, even if you have the same musicians, the same producer, the same everything. It’s always new songs. It’s always comin’ up with different challenges. Is it, ‘Hey, I’m movin’ this key,’ or I’m doin’ this. It’s always gonna be different every time. That’s part of what makes it always great. You know, it’s always just a lot of fun to go in there, start with nothin’, and create an album.”
