MORE GOOD STUFF…with Pistol Annies and Kenny Chesney!
- Today, Kenny Chesney announced the creation of Spread the Love: A Fund for Boston. Born from Kenny’s desire to help in the wake of the bombings at the Boston Marathon, Kenny established the Spread the Love Fund to work with Boston Medical Center and other Boston hospitals to fund prosthetics and post-acute care for victims of traumatic injuries from the bombings. In addition to a donation to seed the fund, Kenny will also be donating all of his proceeds from digital single downloads of the song “Spread the Love,” from his new album, Life on a Rock. To make a donation directly, you can visit bmc.org/kenny.
- Beginning today, and heading into the release of Pistol Annies‘ new album, Annie Up, on May 7th, Miranda Lambert, Ashley Monroe, and Angaleena Presley are giving fans the chance to hear all 12 songs on the album in their entirety with an exclusive stream at Amazon.com/PistolAnnies! In support of the album, the Annies will be on TV next week with release-day appearances on NBC’s Today and CBS’ Late Show with David Letterman, where the trio will perform their new single, “Hush Hush,” before heading to ABC’s The View on May 8th to sing Annie Up‘s closing track, “I Hope You’re the End of My Story.” …And on another note, the Annies have playlisted some of their favorite tunes for Songza themed around “Country Chicks Night Out.” It’s good listening!
