It was a big night for Miranda Lambert at last week’s CMA Awards, including an amazing performance of her red-hot single, “Fastest Girl in Town,” but this coming Saturday, November 10th, Miranda will be the birthday girl in town as she plans to celebrate her big day in Oklahoma prepping for a very cool, upcoming special event. • Miranda recently told The Boot that you’ll find a variety of items in her Pink Pistol store: “It’s antiques, gifts, boots, jeans and pretty much everything you can imagine. My favorite thing in the store is a glittery pink bicycle hanging from the ceiling. I’m really 12 at heart,” Miranda laughed. Miranda added that with her store’s grand opening on Black Friday, The Pink Pistol will be celebrating it as Pink Friday with the goal to turn the block pink at this time every year!

• And a big tip of the hat to Miranda, who shared an incredible CMA Awards night with Blake on Thursday, as they both walked away big winners, making CMA history with the first time ever that the same two artists claimed the Female and Male Vocalist titles for three consecutive years together! Togetherness also shined brightly as Blake and Miranda were awarded CMA Song of the Year for their beautiful tribute to Blake’s late brother, Richie, with the song, “Over You.” Blake capped a great evening, claiming Entertainer of the Year, while The New York Times gave the nod for “the night’s best performance” to Miranda’s knockout rendition of her latest smash, “Fastest Girl in Town.”

“You know what? I’m gonna be at home for my birthday, I think. And I’m actually openin’ a store in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, a little boutique, and it’s called The Pink Pistol. And the grand opening is on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving. So, I’m just gonna be hangin’ out at home, working on that.”
