Miranda Lambert appreciates people who are genuine. (:26)
“I feel like you can tell when you meet someone if they’re genuine. I like for people to be real and not put-on, and I think people can also judge that about me. I mean, I have one of those faces that whatever I think is on my face (laughs), whether it’s good or bad, you know, I wish I could act a little better sometimes, but what I like about people is just when they’re themselves. You know? Whether they are sweet or not sweet, I’d rather just know upfront how they really are (laughs), you know?”
Miranda Lambert talks about hubby Blake Shelton’s love for Thanksgiving and the amazing peanut butter pie recipe featured in November’s Good Housekeeping. (:23)
“It’s my mom’s recipe, the peanut butter pie recipe, but it’s delicious. And he has a lot — they just picked one in Good Housekeeping. He loves Thanksgiving. That is like his favorite time of year. He loves fall and loves when I put the pumpkins out and the hay bales and scarecrows and all that. And his favorite time is Thanksgiving, and he actually loves every single thing we make at Thanksgiving, so that’s just one they randomly picked!” (laughs)
