“The new single is ‘Hello Goodbye.’ It’s one that I’ve been waitin’ awhile to get out there to everyone. It’s a song that I think everyone can relate to. It was very personal to me. It came from a real-life experience. An ex-girlfriend of mine — caught her cheatin’ on me — won’t mention any names, don’t want to wake up dead tomorrow or nothin’, but… So I wrote this song the next day after that all went down, and it…you know, that’s what we all love about country music is you write from real circumstances and events in your life — some are good or some are bad — and you take ’em, you put ’em in a song, and hopefully we made somethin’ magic out of, and it’s been connectin’ out there on the road, and I’m excited about it.”
