MORE GOOD STUFF…with Brad and Casey!
- This Fourth of July, President Obama and the USO will honor our armed forces and their families with the fourth annual “Salute to the Military” USO concert, featuring Brad Paisley. With more than 1200 of our troops and their families expected to attend, the event will take place on the White House South Lawn and will also include a barbecue, family-friendly games, a musical selection by “The President’s Own” U.S. Marine Band, and a capitol view of the Nation’s fireworks. About the event, Brad shared, “The Fourth of July has always been about family, freedom and celebration. I am so honored to be spending my holiday performing a USO concert for our troops and their families, and to be celebrating those freedoms with the men and women who put everything on the line to defend them.” Fans across the country will be able to enjoy the concert when it streams live, beginning at 8:10pm, ET, on WhiteHouse.gov. The USO is also a proud supporter of Joining Forces, the continuing initiative by First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden that calls on Americans to show their support for our military families.
