- Congratulations to Brad Paisley, who was surprised on Thursday evening at the CMA Music Festival when he was presented with the CMA International Artist Achievement Award, prior to his performance at LP Field. The honor recognizes outstanding achievement by a U.S.-based artist in contributing to the awareness and development of country music outside the States. Way to go, Brad! Look for him on the road stateside now headlining his Virtual Reality World Tour! …Speaking of which, Brad brought his tour to Chicago’s Wrigley Field on Saturday, playing to a sold-out crowd of 38,000 fans — just in the stadium! There were plenty more on nearby streets and rooftops attempting to get in on the fun of only the second live country concert in Wrigley history. The special show also featured Miranda Lambert, The Band Perry, Jerrod Niemann, and Chris Young.
- Kenny Chesney is featured in a new commercial, debuting today, for ESPN’s This is SportsCenter.
