“I’m from a small town in Missouri called Garden City — grew up there pretty much my whole life ’til I graduated high school. It’s got about a, you know, a thousand people in it. When you graduate, you either go and work for the union or lay concrete or the lucky ones, they’re few, go to college. There’s not a…it’s a small farmin’ community, so, that’s what I grew up around.”
