It’s a true superstar pairing as Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw hit the road for the first time in a decade for their 2012 ‘Brothers of the Sun’ Tour. Featuring special guests Grace Potter & The Nocturnals and Jake Owen, the 19-date summer stadium tour is set to kick off next June 2nd, but as Kenny tells us, he’d love it if the tour were starting right now. “I can’t tell you guys how excited I am already for the 2012 ‘Brothers of the Sun’ Tour, with me and my good friend, Tim McGraw, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, and Jake Owen. I’m so excited; I wish the summer was right now. We can’t wait to come play music for ya. It’s gonna be an incredible summer with me and my buddy Tim McGraw, like I said Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, and Jake Owen. We’re gonna have a blast, everybody.”

“I’m really excited to say that I’m goin’ out on the road next summer with my buddy Tim McGraw. It’s really still hard for me to believe ’cause Tim and I have been friends a long time, we’ve made a lot of music together, made a lot of memories together. He’s one of my best friends in the business and outside the business, and when this first came about, it was just, you know, an idea to think about what we’re gonna do next year and how we could make it special for me and for everyone, especially the fans. And this started out, I think Tim and I were just gonna do one show together, and then, you know, we talked about it and decided, why not? You know? Let’s go and give the fans the best possible show that we can give them.”

“It’s gonna be a rockin’ show — I can tell you that. And it’s still hard for me to believe, you know, that we’re gonna go out there, and I’m gonna spend next summer with my buddy Tim McGraw. And he and I are gonna have a blast out there with everybody.”

“The idea of he and I up there on stage together, makin’ music, and givin’ the fans the best possible show they can get next summer, that’s the thing I’m most excited about because the people that are gonna win the most is the fans. And they’re gonna get a lot of music thrown at them, and they’re going to have, hopefully have, an evening that they’re gonna remember for a long time. I’m already…I wish it was happening right now, you know? I’m so ready for it.”
