Miranda Lambert‘s career is soaring, with a GRAMMY® Awards performance this past weekend, her first-ever GRAMMY win, and a growing list of hits, including “Heart Like Mine” — the latest smash from her million-selling ACM and CMA Album of the Year winner, Revolution. All of this is enough to have anyone’s head spinning, but fortunately for Miranda, the people closest to her — including hubby-to-be Blake Shelton — help her to stay grounded. (AUDIO INFO BELOW)
- Miranda’s smash, “The House That Built Me,” was the song for which she won her Best Female Country Vocal Performance GRAMMY on Sunday night, and her live performance of the song is available now, exclusively — right here — on iTunes!
Miranda Lambert says that the people around her will keep her safe from diva-dom. (:27)
“My family keeps me grounded, and my friends, and Blake, too. We, you know, we have a good balance of gettin’ to do these amazing things together, because…not to mention all my stuff, he’s had an amazing last year, too, so…but together we sort of keep each other grounded because when we go home, we’re just normal. And we appreciate everyday things, as well as gettin’ to be on a red carpet together and have success together. But my mom would kill me if I got diva on her.” (laughs)
