Brad Paisley will be wearing many hats at next week’s CMA Awards, and not just the one on his head. He’s co-hosting the show with Carrie Underwood, he’ll be performing a song on the show, and last but not least, he’s up for three awards! Brad is a nominee for Video (for “Water”), Male Vocalist, and Entertainer of the Year. While he’d like to have the trio of trophies by his side at the end of the night, it’s the Entertainer of the Year that he really would like to win. Brad realizes what it means to win the award, and to him, it would mean a lot. Being the good sport, Brad says he’ll be okay if he doesn’t win it, but this year more than any other, he’d love to have his name announced as the final winner of the evening. (AUDIO INFO BELOW)

Brad Paisley talks about his nomination for the CMA Entertainer of the Year, and what it means to him. (:31)
“It’s sort of every year, you get asked, ‘Which one would mean more to you than any other?’ You know? Some years, I’ve said ‘Well, album, I’ve always wanted to win that.’ Even, I think, one year, I said Video. I wanted Video for Andy Griffith. So, I would be lying now to say that that’s not the one I would like to win. I know what that can mean, and the short list of people that have ever done that, and, so yeah, it would mean a lot. But I’ll also say that I will not be the least bit upset if someone else wins it.”
