Kenny Chesney had his eye on 2010 as a bit of a break…kind of a year off, when he wasn’t going to be touring hot and heavy like he has in years past…but when you look at what Kenny’s been doing — from the making of his new album to his Summer in 3D and the work that he put into creating his Boys of Fall documentary about high school football — it sure doesn’t seem like he’s been on a break. So we couldn’t help but smile as we asked Kenny about how that “year off” has been going. (AUDIO INFO BELOW)
- If you haven’t seen Kenny’s Boys of Fall documentary, you can catch a re-airing this coming Monday, September 27th, at 7pm, ET, on ESPN2 and ESPN2 HD.

Kenny Chesney says that taking a break is sometimes just about where you focus your energy. (:14)
“Yeah, I haven’t really mentally taken that break yet. But you know what? In a weird kind of way, making this football documentary has been really a lot of work, but it’s been a mental break from something else. You know? And so in a weird kind of way, it’s goin’ great…that year off.”
