Brad Paisley is number-one for a second week with his splashy smash, “Water,” and this weekend Brad will bring “Water” to the water, literally, when he headlines the AquaPalooza 2010 Signature Event this Saturday, July 10th, at The Reserve at Lake Travis, near Austin, Texas. The big show will also feature “Lover, Lover” hitmaker Jerrod Niemann, newcomer Joanna Smith, and others as part of the big fest, with thousands of fans enjoying the lakeside performances from their boats. Alan Jackson was last year’s headliner, and for Brad, who loves water-related fun anyway — then add in a song like “Water” and Brad’s big H2O Tour this year — playing AquaPalooza couldn’t feel more right. “It’s pretty wild…yeah. Alan Jackson did it last year, and I loved what I saw. When they came to me this year, that was — I don’t know whose idea that it was to ask me, but it’s good timing. And so I really was thrilled to get to do that. It’s so right up my alley, and it’s so perfect for this. There’s something about seein’ these people sitting on inner tubes and boats in the middle of a lake listenin’ to you play that I just can’t think of a better setting to play a music program, really.”
