When it comes to summertime, Carrie Underwood is thinking about the great outdoors. To her, it’s the summer memories and traditions — from barbecues to holidays — that make this the time of year when you just can’t wait to get outside and do something. (AUDIO INFO BELOW)
- Carrie is all over the radio these days with the summertime energy of her latest hit, “Undo It,” from her Play On album.
Carrie Underwood talks about what summer means to her. (:41)
“Summer and, you know, various summer holidays — Memorial Day, Fourth of July…stuff like that — it’s all about being outside to me. You know, you think of barbecues, you think of lakes, you think of just, you know, sunburns — hopefully not too bad. (laughs) But things like that. You think of fishing. You think of just outdoor summer fun. And that’s…even when we’re on tour, and the tour’s like, you know, just wrapped up, and you can just feel, everybody’s gettin’ just antsy and itching to be outside and enjoy summer. So it’s just…it’s all about the outdoors for me.”
