Jake Owen has gotten plenty of attention for his dark good looks as well as his musical gifts, and Jake tells a story about a particular photograph that seemed to underscore his popularity with the ladies. It was a concert photo, and there was quite a show of support — of the cross-your-heart variety — hanging from his microphone stand. “There was a picture…we were out in Portland at this place called Duke’s Bar and Grill, and there’s a photo of me on stage playin’, and there’s literally like 40 bras on my microphone stand…40 of ’em. And she just could not…she just shook her head, like, ‘You’ve got to be kidding me. I can’t believe my son…I raised my son to do…he’s out there doin’ this.’ I said, ‘Mom, look, I must be doin’ somethin’ right.’ Dad’s high-fivin’ me. You know, he’s just like, ‘Let me ride around…let me hang out with you.'”
