Chris Young‘s hot new album, The Man I Want to Be, is available now, and one of the songs from the album is his smash single, the fun and sexy “Gettin’ You Home (The Black Dress Song).” Chris also has a new and appropriately sultry music video for the song, which helps bring to life the lyric about “seein’ your black dress hit the floor.” Country Weekly‘s fan-voted Hottest Bachelor jokes about the somewhat steamy video shoot, but says it really was a great day, and he’s very happy with both the song and the video. Chris tells us he wrote “Gettin’ You Home” to be “a sexy love song” — and he feels like that comes across on camera, as well: “The sexy vibe is there,” he says, “but it’s classy, too.” (AUDIO INFO BELOW)

Chris Young laughs that the pretty girl in his “Gettin’ You Home” music video really helped to make it a fun shoot. (:21)
“I really enjoyed the process of makin’ the video and, you know, especially ’cause we shot the scene of the girl droppin’ the black dress, like, 40 times, so it was a great day. I mean, we (laughs) we really had a great day. They, you know, by the end of it, we were just goin’, ‘All right, yeah, you’re gonna walk out, you’re gonna look at me, all right, pretend like we like each other, drop the dress, perfect, perfect,’ and we shot that a lot. We shot that scene a lot.”
Chris Young wanted to write his hit “Gettin’ You Home” to be a sexy love song, and he feels like he’s been able to accomplish that in a classy way with the video, too. (:14)
“I think we really, really managed to do this as a sexy love song. That’s what I’ve always said about this song, how I wanted to write it. I wanted it to be a sexy love song. I wanted both of those things in there, and I think we did that with the video. I think it…you know, the sexy vibe is there, but it’s classy, too.”
