With his hot new single, “Welcome to the Future,” Brad Paisley celebrates — and marvels at — not just the speed with which things can change these days, but also the fun factor that goes along with it. What Pac-Man player, at an arcade or at home with a joystick, would have thought that one day they’d be walking around with a phone that had the game built into it? Brad Paisley says that the Internet is a big driver behind how quickly things can change. (:17)
“Every day’s a revolution now. I mean, it’s like, it changes so quick. We have…absolutely, I mean, daily, things change thanks to the Internet. You can start a movement and achieve your objective in about 24 hours these days, with certain things, you know? It’s wild.”
Brad Paisley talks about his song “Welcome to the Future” and says that Pac-Man has come a long way…and so have we. (:11)
“You wanna blow somebody’s mind from 1980, go back in time with your iPhone and show them Pac-Man on it. I mean, I have that on my iPhone. I actually…that’s where we got the line.”
