• It’s certainly been a momentous week for Brooks & Dunn news with the revelation that Kix and Ronnie will be going their separate ways, but the party ain’t over yet! The guys are brand new on the radio with “Honky Tonk Stomp” featuring Billy Gibbons, one of two new tracks (along with the hit, “Indian Summer”) on their #1s … and then some, available September 8th. Ronnie: “I think it’s like the clothes you pick to wear…”
Kix: (laughs)
Ronnie: “…you know? You kinda set yourself apart and individualize yourself the way you wear ’em. Songs are, a lot of ways, the same way. You pick songs that you like, things that you feel like fit you. There’s no really set criteria. Go in, take one off the rack, and if it feels good to you, feel like you look good…”
Kix: (laughs)
Ronnie: “…there you go.”
