- Look for Chuck Wicks in the August 24th issue of First magazine, where he appears on the “Sweet Talk” page in a feature titled “4 Reasons Women Are So Easy to Love.” One of the reasons that Chuck lists is that women “bring out the absolute best in us.” Chuck recalls his grandmother — who he called his mamom — and credits her with inspiring him to want to be a good person. “She was always the one that I wanted to impress,” he says. “She had the biggest heart in the world. And that’s what I really learned from her — to enjoy life and be nice to everyone.” Chuck’s debut album, Starting Now, features some big-hearted songs, too, including hits like “Stealing Cinderella” and “All I Ever Wanted.”
